Priyanka Karki made her acting debut in a comedy sitcom called Gharbeti Ba on Kantipur Television, a Nepali Version of the American Sitcom Three’s Company. The sitcom was a sensation where Karki played the character of ‘Tina’. Then in May 2011, after finishing her Bachelors in Filmmaking from The University of North Alabama, she started filming for the first Bhutanese- Nepalese production called ‘Bhulne Po Ho Ki’where she played the female lead. After filming was over, Karki flew back to Nepal to debut in Nepali movies with Prasanna Poudel’s ‘Mero Best Friend’. Immediately after ‘Mero Best Friend’, Karki signed Suresh Darpan Pokhrel’s ‘3 Lovers’, which was previously offered to Nisha Adhikari Currently in post production, all three movies are hitting the theaters in 2012.
